Why do girls make fun of me because i have long hair?
Ok, I’m 13 years old and i have long straight hair a little past my shoulders.
The girls at my school always say to me my hair is dirty and call me names because I am a boy with long hair.
My hair is NOT dirty or greasy. Compared to some of the girls that make fun of me my hair looks the greatest in the world. I don’t understand why they do this. I have older sisters who love my hair and some female friends who love it.
Any ideas on why they may do this? Thanks.

They’re immature. You say that your hair isn’t dirty or greasy, which means you wash it thoroughly and frequently. If you have some female friends you hang out with and your sisters who like it, it seems like you have more lovers than haters in terms of your hair.
Girls can be really retarded some times, usually to other girls but it happens to guys too. Watch what some of the girls do to each other and you’ll see how bad they can get.
It’s good to be different and unique, it sets you apart from everybody else and it says that your not afraid to express yourself in your own way. When I graduated from the eighth grade all of the girls were wearing high heels and things like that, when I was 13 I couldn’t walk in them (at 16 I still can’t) and I was never a girlie girl either. I was one of the guys, and I still am. When I wore my dress abd when I got there I saw a whole bunch of girls in their Jimmy Choo’s and things like that, and guess what I was wearing? A pair of old black converse high-tops. Personally, I LOVE guys with long hair! I know lot’s of girls who do.
So what I’m trying to say is, ignore them. They’re probably doing this just because they’re uncomfortable with they’re own looks or bodies. I wish you lucky sweetie.
