Should I put a deck pad on my surfboard?

I have a liquid shredder board and waxing it can get really annoying after a while, so I was wondering if it was worth getting the full deck anti slip traction pads. I was thinking of getting the ones made right from the company, the “Soft Tracks” on softsurfboards.com. Do they feel weird under foot? Do they provide enough traction over wax?
